Tomorrow is the big day...
We get to finally go pick up our rescue, Blayne!!! It has been a long wait, but I am sure she will be worth it. Anyone have any great advice for bringing her home and making her feel comfortable in our home? She has met Roscoe twice and they get along great, so I dont think that will be an issue, although he may not let her rest for awhile
I am sure today and tomorrow at work will go by EXTREMELY slow...

Re: Tomorrow is the big day...
Oh yeah, guaranteed to go by slowly! It sounds silly, but my recommendation is patience. I expected Bella to come in and be just like Ory. Well, they're completely different (very different backgrounds) and that took some getting used to. I know you've been preparing for her (her new bed So sweet) so I have a feeling you'll do just fine! Welcome home Blayne!
 Let the celebration begin!

Re: Tomorrow is the big day...
Surely it will go by slowly. I know that since my baby was born has gone by oh, so slooooowly.
Thank the Boxer gods for you adopting a baby and I hope all goes well with introducing the new baby to your home

Re: Tomorrow is the big day...
Only 8 more hours to go!!! Ughhh, that sounds sooooooo long. I think we decided we are going to leave Roscoe at home while we go pick her up. Give us an hour to spend with her alone before the chaos begins. I am sure we wont be sleeping much this weekend. Roscoe never seems to want to stop playing with other dogs, no matter how tired he is. Hopefully he will calm down after a few days.

Re: Tomorrow is the big day...
Are you excited yet? I am for you! Getting Blayne without Roscoe is probably a good idea. I had my friend bring Bella to the park and meet Ory and I. Then she came home with us and never left. Get ready to laugh and be sooo exhausted! So happy for you all!
