Re: Boxers DO calm down at 2 years old!!!!!

Atlas is 6 yrs old and he has calmed down when it comes to being in the house and around our family....But....when it comes to strangers and other dogs that is a another story.

Billy turns 3 soon and he is still like a puppy!!! I keep thinking that when he turns 3 he will calm down.

Oh yeah, they calm down. But then like a human toddler, they get that second wind. Now they are smarter, more skillful and knowledgeable in their plots and plans.

The boxer antics never stop, ever! They are indeed very good citizens, but in my experience, they are clowns and entertainers from day one to the end.

And I'm every so grateful.

WHAT???? Are we only in the eye of the storm?
I knew they are always clowns and mischievous little monkeys but surely not as wild as the 9 to 11 month stage. You're making me nervous.....

Clinton does have a smirk on his face every time we brag about his new personality...Hmmmmm....

Re: Boxers DO calm down at 2 years old!!!!!

man i sure hope your right cuz aaliyah is a goof ball and wild. i mean wild like tossing toys and chases anything that flys by her.

every day i come she does the kidney beans non stop for a min. and wen i ask her to sit, she sits for 1 second and the shaking takes her out of stance and back to square 1. and if i dont pet her she makes these boxer cries lol. well she has bout 3 more months to go beofre hitting 2 years, hopefully shes will stop chasing rabbits or any other animals and definitely hope she will be less skeddish and jus CALMS down.
