Baby Boxer Experience!! (Eventful days!)

So I have so many little updates to make so I am sorry if this is a little longer.

DH and I took baby to the vet this week. He gained 2.5lbs in one week!!! HE IS SO BIG!! He is at a whopping 16.5lbs at 9 weeks!! He does so well at the vet we are very impressed.

Last night we went to an ice cream parlor, and we brought baby with us. He is experiencing this fright period and he is suppose to be exposed to all different kinds of environments, but that is hard because he hasn't received all his shots so we can't go to other parks or do to many things because we don't want to him to get sick. ANYWAY! So I am sitting outside waiting for DH to get the ice cream and everyone is kinda looking at him but not petting him. Then a group of hyper high school girls come wailing around. They asked if they could pet him and I said yes, the poor guy was a little scared but he knew his momma was close by . THEN this older couple came by and looked at him and walked away, DH heard them say "he must be about 15weeks old". They came over again after they got their ice cream and they asked how old he was. We said nine weeks and they just said "huh, we breed boxers", and I thought 'you breed boxers but you thought he was 15 weeks old??!!' What does that mean, is Otto real big? or do they just have REALLY small pups?? I didn't say anything I just said, "yep he's a big boy"

Next story!! This morning we were up watching a dog show on TV and we saw a group of people running past our house. We remembered there was suppose to be a triathalon today. We thought this would be ANOTHER great experience for Otto to go through PLUS it was safley infront of our house so Otto wouldn't have to leave the yard! FEW!! But my poor little baby was kinda scared of the groups of people running by. I sat on the sidewalk and he came and sat on my lap. After a little while he started to venture a little closer to the runners, and eventually he stopped paying attention and was focused on different things.

He did so good and I am SOOO happy we got to put him through some differen't experiences. After last night he slept almost the whole night, at 2:30 I had to wake him up to go potty, and then he was up at 6:45 this morning. Now he is tired again after watching all those runners!! Sorry this is so long!! I am just so happy for my baby I wanted to share it with someone!
