Boxer Signs of Spring
We all know the usual signs of Spring: birds migrating, trees budding, flowers starting to break through the soil etc. But what are the signs of Spring related to your Boxer? What have they been doing that makes you know warmer weather is on the way?
I know that Spring is coming because Nestle asks to be let outside not for a potty break but to lie in the sun and soak up the rays. She also has a bit more energy and is happy to be outside for longer walks. And of course there's the muddy paws that have to be wiped constantly Oh, and Hobart actually caught a fly that got in the house today

Ditto - Rowdy has wanted to lounge out in the backyard the past few days. Oh and digging up the dead trees in my backyard...

Re: Boxer Signs of Spring
Zoey (6 mos.) is in love with SPRING ! This being her 1st official 'Spring' she can't get enough of the fresh air, new smells, muddy paws, birds, meeting new people/dogs on our walks. She is soooooo tired by the end of the day because she doesn't want to miss anything by taking a nap! It's 70 degrees today in SE Wisconsin and she has her face in the window, the front door or anywhere she can catch a sniff of the fresh air.

Re: Boxer Signs of Spring
This is the first spring for Addie. So far she has asked to be let outside every 5 minutes. All she wants to do is play in the warm weather. Shes loving every minute of it!

Re: Boxer Signs of Spring
I know it's spring when Grumpy starts chasing the bugs on the back patio! Last night she ran inside with this wild-eyed look. . . opened her mouth and a moth flew out! Yep, it's officially spring.

Re: Boxer Signs of Spring
I know its spring because I cannot keep my boys inside! They always want to lounge in the sun, wrestle in the grass, and they have taken to chasing the birds that have returned. I haven't seen any bunnies yet but I don't think we will have many hanging around with these two running around!

Terra was sunbathing on the patio for hours today. She only came in for food and water!
