Does Your Boxer.....
Go nuts in the snow? This will be our first winter with Fletcher and it has already snowed twice here. Each time his paws hit the white stuff he became a pup obsessed!!! His whole body turns into a U shape and he jumps around like Tigger. He eats it and snorts it and burns faster than I thought possible. I have to get this on video, it is too funny. Do your boxers do this?

Champ absolutely loves the snow. THe first time he saw it, which was last year, he was like "what the hell is this stuff?!?!?" but then proceeded to go absolutely nots with burns, eating it, rolling in it, etc.
There was one time that he got really upset though. We had about a foot and a hlf of snow, and we hadn't shoveled all that much yet. I didn't realize how deep the snow was at the bottom of the outdoor steps, and when he got down, he was practically buried in it for a minute - face and everything. He was so upset, but I couldn't stop laughing. bad mom.

Yeah, Kilbane was like that last year. He was like a little kid I had to grab him by the collar to get him to come inside cause if not he'd been out there til the cows came home. lol. I'm curious to see how Jazzy is going to take it.

Pru loves the snow. She and our other dog will stay outside until thier paws freeze. They don't care. Her burns are so funny - I especially like it when she slips and goes sliding across the yard. I know - that's terrible of me, but it is just so darn funny. Not only does she hop, skip and jump in the snow, but she also walks with her face pushing down into the snow and lets it pile up on her face. Very cute.

Our boys don't like cold so they don't get into the snow unless they are really excited. Harley dosen'g go out much in the winter.

We don't get any snow down here but when I lived in NY I had my Jake and you wanna talk about boxer burns?? lol. We used to snowblow paths around the yard to get to the birdfeeder and garage and the woods and it was really comical the way Jake would run at top speed along those paths. Then he'd come inside and plop himself down next to the fireplace.

We don't get much snow in Texas, but year before last we got a little. Ranger walked around in it like he had something nasty stuck to the bottom of his feet. He didn't like it much but it was funny watching him high-step around the backyard.

Shaylea has never seen snow. I doubt Tyson has. Buster has seen it a few times and just loved it! It was a few years ago, as we don't get it very often here. He burned around the yard in the snow!

Loves the snow
I'm continually amazed at how many traits seem to be so common and so strong in boxers...
Brandy loves the snow. She does major burns in the snow. My husband and I get such a kick out of watching her. You hear the thundering sound and then see this brown streak as she passes the door. She absolutely loves it!!
