Happy Birthday Emmett!!!
Dear Em,
Today you turned 1 year old. My, how time flies. You are such a beautiful boy. Your brown eyes are so welcoming and warm. I love when you check on me in the middle of the night. I wake up to see you in my face. I promise I will always take great care of you. I will continue to sing the Barney song " I love you...you love me" as long as you continue to always wait for me outside the shower and lay at me feet while I am drying my hair. I will always buy you the best kibble and I will also continue to buy you pancakes and sausage at McDonalds on Sunday mornings. In the last month you have learned to walk on your leash without pulling and you are learning great manners by not jumping on Grandma when she visits. Thank you for showing great manners to the old grouchy lady who walks down our street every evening and mumbles stupid thing about "mean dogs". Your manners are helping change the way dumb people are around your sister Wilma and all your other friends. I am so happy Daddy picked you out of the others at your biological Mom and Dad's house. You were such a brave boy when you left your baby life and started a new one with us. I love you little Emito! You are my special baby boy who gives the best wet kisses ever. MOM P.S. We are going to Baskin Robbins tonight for your birthday treat!
