Dh kills pest for aliving but stuff never happens when he is home, with 2 cats and 2 dogs not much lives in this house. We have a lot of snapping turtles who lay eggs around our pond in the spring and they are huge I wear steel toe boots in the yard and then they just leave I never see the babies they hatch and go down to the lake. Lots of snakes too.

When I called and told my mom, she said "dont you remember that when we lived in TX, we used to cover the scorpions with cups until your dad came home to kill them" Uh, NO! I dont remember that, but thanks so much for the extra visual! I honestly thought about going next door and getting the guy over there to come kill it, but I was afraid to loose sight of the nasty thing in case it ran somewhere else.
This is the 2nd one in 2 weeks! The first one I found in my kitchen, I was talking on the phone to my guy friend in Denver and when I saw it I screamed like a 7yr old girl! He asked what happened and I told him about the scorpion on my kitchen floor and he just calmly says "well kill it" MEN! just kill it! Grrr......they just dont understand this terrible fear of bugs do they! Oh well,.....it is still very hard to sit in my chair though! I keep moving it out of the way to check before I sit!
