We've created 2 Monsters- LOL
The wife got in the habit of walking the boys each morning before she gets ready for work. She started out getting up around 5:45, and taking them out.
Problem is, that sleeping in is now impossible. In fact, no alarm clock is needed anymore. They wake us at the first hint of daylight now. Nothing subtle about it. They climb right on top of us, whine, and lick our faces until we get up.
Anybody else have this "problem"? I laugh about it really (except on the weekends when it would be nice to sleep in). I like that they enjoy this.
By the way, we live right next to the cities flood dyke, which several years ago was converted into a walking/jogging/biking trail. The wife said the other day there were several deer on the trail, and both boys had no idea what to think. LOL

Welcome to my life! I get up M-F at 4:30 am to give my pups a walk. Now on Sat & Sun at 4:31am I can hear the clicking of nails coming my way...through the house...towards my bedroom...and then BAM! They hit the bed and are ready to roll. I just groan, but what can I do???!!! They won't leave me alone until I get up to take them for their walk. Who needs an alarm clock when you've got a wet nose????

Yup, no need for an alarm clock. Bacon jumps up promptly at 5 am. There's nothing better than a kick to the spine or a paw to the face to wake me up. AND when he does get on the bed, he decides he wants to either sleep on your neck or on DH's head! It makes DH !

I love it!!
LOL!! I know the feeling all to well! Even though the alarm clock goes off, Kirby is in his crate right next to the bed. @ 5:45 every morning the alarm goes off, and I quickly hit the snooze, hoping for 5 more min.... well Kirby does not agree, he starts jack hammering in his crate, until I let him out. If I don't get up, the fiancee does, and after Kirby is done his morning run, and breakfast, I can hear him comming up the stairs, the WHAMM!! right on the bed!! He is not gracefull about it either!! Then comes all the sniffs and kisses!! I love it!! He brightens my morning every day, I look forward to him waking me up!

Our 2 are like alarm clocks too - they are out for their walk during the week at around 6.30am but come through to our bedroom a bit earlier to get their cuddle in with us on the bed first. So of course they appear at the same time at the weekend..........luckily they are both happy to stay there for as long as possible so long lies for all of us I love starting the day with Sophie coming round my side of the bed to say good morning with a snuggle, Dino on the other hand is more rude, jumps on the bed and peers down at you so all you see is a big set of damp jowls then you get a rough lick on the nose!

My two are sleepy heads.
My hubby gets up at 5.30am and say's they don't stir then I get up at 6.30am and they still carry on sleeping. They begrudgingly get up at about 7.15 and that's only because I go outside to have a ciggie, they then follow me out and lay back down again on the grass

Moe does it to his Pop. When he wakes up he kisses Gary all over his face. If I tell him to lay down he will lay on Garys neck or head. LOL If it is cold outside or raining Moe wants to get up and play but he is slow to go outside...

I used to have to set two "real" alarm clocks to make sure I got up in the morning. Hahahhaha, now I have two "furry" alarm clocks that make sure I get up in the morning. Never once since I've had them have I overslept. I used to try to lay back down after taking them for a walk - it only took one or two times of trying before it was very clear they were having none of that! They were literally boucing on and off me/the bed until I got back up. Amazingly, my pups have gradually turned me into a morning person. Aren't they the greatest?

Rocky & Mia don't budge out of their beds until I get up. Regardless of what time my hubby wakes up (he is always the first out of bed!) they stay snoozing until I am ready for them. Miss Bea is turning out to be a morning pup though. When my hubby wakes & calls her name she sits up wigling like mad ready for the day!
