I took Zoey down to the ocean today, and just our luck, the tide was WAY out! There was a lady with her young daughter there, but otherwise we had the whole beach to ourselves. I led Zoey down to the waters edge and let her off leash. She tried to eat barnicles, seaweed, and a broken clam shell

She chased little mud-skipper fish in the tide pools, and I found several clam holes (making bubbles in the sand) whish fascinated Zoey to no end. I had to stand with her and watch her dig for her clams. At one point her nose was covered all the way up to her eyes in the sand trying to pull out the clam!
Then the Canadian Geese started to arrive on the beach. Zoey couldn't believe her luck! She chased the geese into the water and then tried to pounce on them (but they were too deep

)!!
She came up with a new game: Kind-of like barrel racing... Goose/Mom Racing. She would burn around me, and then run at the geese in the water, do a fly-by, and then come back and burn around me... repeat. I was killing myself laughing... and those geese sure were giving her a stern honking to. LMAO

I'm going to find out when the tide is out again so she can chase more geese! What a silly girl I have!
