Question Are we on?

Just want to make sure I have it straight! Are we on for July 14, 10 a.m. at the Irvine Central Bark? If so, I'm there! Be forewarned for any of you who haven't been there before - I checked it out yesterday since it's right down the street from where I work. It's a nice place with two separate areas for large and small dogs. But since it's new, there is no shade from the recently-planted little trees! So bring your squirt bottles!

Cool We're On

Yes we're on even if it's just the 3 of us. even with just us we haveabout 5 boxers so that's good. I will definitely bring the bottle. We're going tomorrow at 1:30 because Cherokee has a vet appointment at 12:00. I wanted to go early but my husband hates to wake up early. I still haven't told him that on the 14 it's at 10. He's not a morning person but I'll give him enough notice to prepare.
Zachsmom if you want I'll be ther at 1:30 if not I will definitely see you on the 14th. Thanks for your comments on Cherokees Pictures. she thinks she's a model.

Hi all. Well we went to the park yesterday as planned and Cherokee had a blast. She met up with another boxer girl who was very beautiful by the way. She was a year old. Zachsmom did you go? I didn't see any other boxers? That's ok I hope to see you on the 14th. I think the park in Irvine will be a great place for our get together I like it much better than the huntington beach one. It is very big and in fact has one big tree in the back with shade. It also has a seating area which is where we sat that has a cover over it. The tree was taken and we didn't want to intrude. Where we sat was great both Cherokee and her boxer friend hung out under the bench when they got too hot and they loved it. We got a picture of them I will post it sometime later. Cherokee went to the vet and we scheduled her spaying for the end of July, July 27th to be exact. She weighs 24 pounds now at 4 and a half months.
So who's all coming on the 14th?

Sorry, we can't make it. Irvine is too far to drive for a day trip, at least 5 hours each way. I would be willing to go North of Thousand Oaks, Bakersfield, Monterey.

Sorry to hear that ninersneal. Maybe we can plan another closer that way next time. I am willing to travel if I have to. I would like to go with this one and get together in the future as well so we can make future plans if you'd like. Wow 5 hours that's apretty long drive. If you want see if there's a park somewhere in between you and us for us to meet and I will be there.

Her'e what I've got so far. ZachsMom, ElizabethH, and Scribe1128 will be attending July 14th at 10am at Irvine Central Bark Park.

Susan fulcher can't make it because she works on Saturdays and her girl Mona is allergic to the son.
Ninersneal can't make it because it's too far 5 hours each way.
RynTysMom can't make it because Marley will still be too young to socialize.

We are still waiting on replies from BrunnosMommy, Bugnbuster and Reynas Mom.

I am also waiting on a reply from another boxer friend that doesn't come here to the posts.

Anyone else who would like to come is definitely welcomed.

Scribe1128 is right about the trees being just planted but there is a tree towards the back that provides shade we can try and sit back there with our babies there's a bench under it. There is also a bench with a tent covering over it on the opposite side. I am posting pictures so that you may see. Although I do agree you should bring the squirt bottles just in case. I really liked the park and think it will work for us.

For everyone else who can't make it we'll let you know how it goes and will try to plan more in the future more convenient for others.
