moveable lump..

Jolie 7 weeks, has lump by her shoulder blade that can be moved back and forth. She doesn't seem like it hurts or anything. She fights with 3 yr old Kota, but I don't believe he hurts her at all. Does anyone know anything about this??

Did she get a vac within a week or so? Sounds more like a fatty mass. But I would have the vet take a look. With boxers, I wouldn't mess around with any lumps or bumps.

I would then have the vet take a look, possibly asperate the lump and send it for testing. If I found a lump on Lily, I would personally request the asperation and testing even if the vet thinks otherwise. I have learned to question and doubt vets......bad experience lead me. Most vets think on general canine conditions, ignoring breed specific issues. That's where so many dogs are diagnosed too late because the vet didn't think outside the box or think breed specifically.

My one vet refused to run a full panel on Lily cause "She's only two - too young to have a thyroid condition". Chalked her 30 lb weight gain in 3 months to me over feeding her. She was raw fed! I found another vet and his first words to me when he met Lily for the first time was "Did you ever run a full panel on her?" URGHH!!!!!
