Don't know if he is purebred

I adopted a boxer puppy from the boxer rescue. He was born March 20, 2009. He weighs about 32 lbs, which due to the case when they rescued his mom off the streets they did not realize she was pregnant. They had to do an emergency c-section on her. All 5 puppies survived. The vet said they looked like purebred boxers. Zeus is fawn, but what gets me is his front white legs have brown spots on them, like a English Springer Spaniel or something like that. His nose is a little bit longer but I have seen boxers with longer noses. Still has the underbite and the rest of him is all boxer. Has anyone seen a boxer with brown spots on their white fur? Both my boxers have spots underneath their fur - do you happen to have a picture?

My girl has black spots under her white areas. She also has a few fawn dots/spots here and there on the white areas.

We would definitely need a picture. My girl has a few fawn spots on the white on her legs. But the long nose would be more of a sign that she is not pure bred than a few fawn spots on her white.

I have some pics but I do not know how to download them to this site. I have tried and they tell me they are too big. I know it doesn't really matter if he is or isn't because we fell in love with him the day we brought him home. I am just curious.

Most all dogs with white fur have these spots on them. They are like freckels. My brindle has them in the areas of her white marking. It dose not mean that it is not a purebreed. And as for the snout they develope at different stages of there live. You will know as the puppy grow and different features start to show. I have a neighbor that didn't know what he had still the vet told him and is now a year old and starting to show that he is a Lab, Boxer mix.
