Does this sound right?

My cooper is 20 weeks old exactly.. He weighs 29 lbs. We give him plenty of treats and he eats Eukanuba Puppy food (supposed to until 12 months). He's a very picky eater - only eats some food then walks away and will eat again later. Is this an okay weight for him? I think his brothers and sisters weighed this much 6 weeks ago! Thanks!

All pups are different. If he looks and acts healthy then that should be a good weight for him. Have you questioned your vet?
I am curious about why you are "supposed" to feed that food until he is 12 months?
It's a pretty low quality food. If he were having issues with gaining I'd think a higher quality food may be beneficial.
If you have food sitting down for him and available whenever he decides to eat he will eventually have the potential to become a picky eater.
Far easier to offer set meal times. Offer the food for 20-30 minutes. If after that time any remains, pick it up and offer it at the next meal. They will soon learn to eat what is given at one sitting instead of eating whenever they want.
Helps with potty training too! When you know what is going in and when you have a better idea of when it needs to come out.
