What sort of book? Most dog nutrition books are about natural (ie. raw) diets and nutritional needs of dogs. There are a few around about homecooking too. Nothing much about commercial dry/canned food diets though (unless you count the sort that reveal what really goes into pet food, and expose a few industry scandals, of course).

K9 Kitchen: Your Dog's Diet by Monica Segal is a good one; it addresses a dog's nutritional needs per both AAFCO and the NRC, and discusses various diets included kibble, home-cooked, and raw. You can purchase it from the author's website, www.monicasegal.com

That is the kind of nutritional book I had in mind. One that hopefully discuss' ingrediants that go into kibble, good vs bad, and if it talked about home-cooked and raw that would be a bonus.
Thanks, Andi
