Question Stud Books.

Is there anywhere that we can buy the stud books for the boxer? Just wondering. I guess I am what they call a linechaser. I have my IG's pedigree researched back to the 1880's on some lines. Since I am going to have my boxer, I will probably start doing that. I have got his parents' pedigrees and am going from there. It is fun. I am not sure how all it works, with the public having copies of stud books or even where to get them from.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Stud books are only available to members of the National Parent Club for a breed. They used to be kept at some libraries, until the AKC changed their policy, so there may be some archives available near you:

(The entire stud book is available to the public at the AKC Library, of course.)

Have you been to the World Pedigrees site? It's fairly comprehensive, at least in the show population. www.****************************.com
