movies (fiction) with boxers in it
Just like the fiction book thread i started i'd like to start this one. I know this is the book forum but think it's the best place to put this.
Who has seen movies with a boxer in it? boxerworld has become such an information centre for the books, hope I can get some info for videos too.
The only movie I've seen so far having a boxer in it, that i can remember, is Good Boy (2003). I really enjoyed the movie, very funny. Has a lot of different kind of dogs but the boxer is AWSOME :d
In case you wan't to know more about the movie: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...s=dvd&v=glance (or see the cover)
Anyone else has seen any others? (i'm pretty sure you can all agree with me in how hard it is to find books or movies which have a specific kind of animal in it)
thanks!

I did a quick search and the only movies with boxers that I could come up with were "Dog Park" (1998) and "Just Write" (1997) - none of which I saw. Boxers have such great personalities and are so intelligent, you would think there would be more ~ Cathy

thanks lafsalot, i couldn't find that second movie anymore.
I'm not sure about dog park.

It could indeed be a boxer, the dog from the girl in the red top. But not pure bred i guess.
Just Write seems cool too. I like Luke Wilson from Legally Blonde so will try to see if I can rent or buy Dog Park, and maybe also just write. They're both romantic comedies so the genre wont be a problem.
Will also have to look for homeward bound as everyone keeps mentioning that one That one is more popular too so probably better to find.
Thanks!
Oh and did you all like the intro from Good Boy?? the one where the dogs come jumping and their head comes in and out of the screen, so funny with their flappy ears and all

Probably the most of you might already know this movie, it is NOT about boxers or with boxers but I just saw this movie and it is JUST ADORABLE.
The adventures of Milo and Otis
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=UTF8&v=glance
It's about a pug dog and a cat. They guard a chicken's egg, very carefully, sleep close to it at night (sooooo adorable) and then starts their adventures.

I can't think of any other movie than Good Boy. If you ever noticed in the first Superman movie they do have a boxer in the alley way. I just noticed it the other day when i watched the movie.

What an unbelievable coincidence...just started this topic and guess what? watching a movie that has a boxer in it, and a really pretty one too!
A Most Deadly Family. Drama by Arthur Allan Seidelman (US 2001),
With Mary Tyler Moore ea..
It has a boxer in the very beginning, walking through the park and afterwards grawling and then they show him in closeup.
I hope there's more of him throughout the movie
I'm pleasantly surprised though

That's funny, I just saw a movie with a boxer in it last night. I was just flipping through channels and it caught my eye. Didn't really watch the movie because it wasn't about dogs but the boxer was very good looking. I think the movie was a station original, from what I saw of it, it was about two italian families that were feuding and had a grape vineyard in it. That's all I know because I had to go to bed, but the boxer was beautiful, best part of the movie

Yes, that was "The Engagement Ring" I think! That was a very cut boxer!
