Angry TWO Accidents in one day?! (Long)

Hey everyone. Samson has done AWESOME with potty training since we got him at 8 weeks. I can count on one had the amount of accidents that he's had in the house since 8 weeks - which (in my opinion) was our fault for not paying attention to the signs that he was about to potty. He just turned six months on the 3rd.

Anyway, yesterday Samson had TWO accidents in the house. First one was in the morning. He sleeps with us in bed now and has been sleeping through the entire night for at least a month, now. I leave for work at 6am and Samson is still snoozing away in bed with BF. So, BF takes him out when he gets up at 7am. (But, I didn't go to work yesterday.) So, Samson gets up on cue at 7...and goes downstairs (which according to BF is normal). BF went downstairs 2 minutes (literally) later to find that Samson peed in the front room next to the table. We were both shocked...BF said he has never done this before...Any ideas as to why he would have done this? Usually, he sits by the door but it seems like he just went right downstairs to the front room and chose to pee?!

Incident #2 - This one happened yesterday evening. BF and I went and bought a new vacuum cleaner (ours was on the brink of dying and was barley picking up any dirt and hair). I was testing out the new vacuum in the hallway in front of the bathroom on this rug that is in front of our laundry room. Samson was doing his normal 'run at the vacuum and then run away, run at the vacuum, and then run away' routine. At one point, he came around the corner just as I was pushing the vacuum forward and Samson almost ran right into it (he usually keeps a little bit of a distance when performing this vacuum routine). In the seconds that it took me to finish pushing the vacuum forward and glance to see where the silly dog ran to - he was pooing on the kitchen floor?!! I shut the vacuum off and yelled NO and BF quickly took him outside (even though I think he had finished pooing already). My first thought was 'what is going on with him...two accidents in one day?!!'...but then I was wondering if he was literally 'scared s*!& less' when he almost ran into the vacuum which caused him to start pooing within seconds.

What do you guys think?! Sorry this is so long...but I guess I'm very detail oriented?!!

I wouldn't be overly concerned. He is still pretty young and may have been really desperate.

Incident # 2 could have really been because he was scared.

Poor Samson. He really had a bad day!
