Protecting me?
Jackson is doing the weirdest thing now. Whenever I sit down in the yard with him or on the deck, he stands behind me and puts his front legs around my neck, like he's hugging me. Then he rests his head on top of mine or lays it on my shoulder. I wonder if that's his way of showing that he owns me or is my protector or is he simply just giving me LOVE???? Does anyone else's dog do that?

Morgan does that when I get home. We are trying hard to not "jump" so after she sits and I give her some love, normally I will get on the floor w/ her.
She ALWAYS comes to the front of me and puts her paws on my shoulders and looks over my head out the window or licks my face so all of my makeup is gone... I think she's just trying to give me hugs and kisses because she misses me

Our Ali does that a lot in particular with my daughter's boyfriend. Whenever, he comes to the house she just loves to put her paws around his neck and kiss his face. My daughter says she has a crush on him. She does that to me sometimes too and I let her as long as she doesn't get too kissy. I am not worried about it. Just showing her affection.
