1 in, 1 out
I only had one crate in Oct. when we brought Cassie home. Tommy was 13 months at the time. He's been out during the day ever since. I'm very thorough in the morning before I leave to make sure the bedroom and bathroom doors are shut and that everything he likes to chew is put up. Like paper or pens or remotes. Then, I take his toy basket, and dump it all over the living room. He only has free roam of the living room and kitchen. But he's always been a good boy. Cassie stays in her crate, and will for a long time, the cat has to have some sanity during the day, and I fear she would never let up on him.
This only works during the day while we are at work, mind you. He KNOWS the difference! lol If we come home, then leave again after a short while, that's when he will counter/table surf for whatever trouble he can find.
Both run laps around the yard for about an hour before we leave in the morning to tucker them out for the day.
