Wink plant eater.. )) haha

Now that the summer has arrived in N.E. Pa. and our deck is filled with color of flowering plants, ( boxer friendly ) it seems our Nash loves to destroy certain pots, completely..!!

Our six month old has annihilated two beautiful plants, down to the root. haha, tho i think its somewhat funny, my wife doesnt.

any suggestions anyone may have to stop the "plant eater" would be greatly appricated.

It has been summer for a while in South Alabama and my 8 month old Bella has destroyed just about every plant in my back yard.

That is just what they do. When she has outgrown this phase, I will re-claim my yard...

Same here from South Alabama and flowers are all over my yard. I use a spray bottle when I catch him. Now he likes to dig and eat my grass. I have a vine that I'm trying to grow over my pergola he chewed half of it gone

Puppy work for sure! After Emma had reached the age where she was ok to be outside on her own for potty breaks I found that she began to like chewing on the nearest bushes or eating the rasberries (ripe or super green.) I just tried to redirect her and catch her in the behavior for training but it was back to watched potty breaks.

THEN again at about 2 years and things were going well she found the joy of digging in the yard! It was spring and the ground was soft so after I started to see muddy paws and snouts I again had to monitor well. At 3 she is now doing well and has been for quite a while but I'm never really surprised if I find her doing something crazy.

On one of the last days that it was sunny and mild she was out in the yard for quite some time and I thought she was just enjoying the sun (which is not unusual.) Then after a bit she barked to come in. Well... the next day my neighbor three houses down told me that Emma had come over and hung out for a bit with them and he walked her back after he had to leave to go to the store! Emma had opened the gate and ran over to her favorite house (his dog is older and wears a bell that is like a siren song for Emma) so he just let her play and took her back when they were ready.

they are full of surprises and craziness.
