Harry lifted his leg!
Harry half heartedly lifted his leg for the first time whilst out walking. He was a bit wobbly and looked at me as if to say ""Whats going on?""He slightly peed on himself and looked very suprised. The next day he lifted his leg three times against various trees and looked very confident and pleased with himself. He is six and a half months old and I guess his instincts have just kicked in.I had a bit of a chuckle to myself the first day as he looked so suprised.

I have been waiting for my Ozzy to get it. He will occassionally, but its not consistent at all. He's 10 months old too. I am afraid since he is always around my female that he just wont get it.

Cain is 18 months now and still has not lifted his leg. He just kind of stands still (or walks if he sees something that catches his eye mid stream) and goes.

Buddy is about 2 yrs. He lifts his leg about 50% of the time. He forgets sometimes and tries to walk with his leg hiked up. Sometimes he pees on the schnauzers heads if the are not careful. The schnauzers are below his line of vision, so Buddy doesn't worry about them being in way walking or peeing.

Sometimes males never lift their legs and are squatters all their life. On the other hand, Bella (yes she's a girl) lifts her leg almost every time. Seems she learned from her big brothers!

I think you actually have an early bloomer. Thor was a late bloomer, he was just shy of 2 yrs when he started lifting his leg. But once he started our female at the time would sometimes lift her leg too, when we were on walks. lol

Dakota is just about 11 months and about a month or two ago he started lifting his leg. However, he hasn't lifted it for the whole time he's going and he only does it about 25% of the time. When he does lift he looks at me like he doesn't know why he's doing it and then puts it back down about half way through the pee. So I don't know if it'll be something he starts doing all the time.

Johann started lifting his leg (occasionally) a few weeks ago. The first few days were priceless.....he'd squat and pee. Then we'd go for a short walk down the road, he stopped and lifted his leg 3 times....but no peeing. Just stood there looking at me like "why am I doing this? its what the other dogs do at daycare".
After a few days he finally got the idea of lifting his leg AND peeing. He really only does it when we go places (baseball field, on long walks, etc). Never in our yard.

LOL, our tyson just started lifting his leg to pee a week or 2 ago @ 5.5 months. The first time I saw him in action was at the dog park. He went over to a rock that all the other dogs pee on, and left his mark with his leg up! I was such a proud dad at that moment! LOL.
Tyson only pees with his leg up at the park and on walks outside our yard. Sometimes he'll go over to the fence at the dogpark and kinda stand there leaning away from the fence and pee, but with all four on the ground! haha, almost seems he forgets to lift his leg or is too lazy.
