We have our Novice Title
Just a little brag. Shelby now has her novice title in both AKC Standard and Jumpers with Weaves! I was so proud of her last weekend. Not only did she recieve her last leg needed for her Novice JWW title, but she also got her first leg in open JWW. We still need some work on obsticle discrimination for the standard class, but she still did a very good job. Those tunnels can be so much more tempting than the dog walk!

Thanks. I have had so much fun with the agility and I really think Shelby enjoys it. I was talking to someone at a trial when I was waiting about the BC's and how fast they are etc... I came out of the ring and she said to me " you dont' need a BC, she is really fast!".
ILuvlucy, Good luck with your first trial! I am sure you and J.C. will have a blast! Are you planning on doing AKC trials? I have been doing AKC, but now that we have our novice title, we may try to go to some NADAC or USDAA trials as well for fun. We can do the novice/starters in those, so we don't get too frustrated with courses that may be really difficult for us in Open in the AKC trials.

We will be doing AKC. Our instructor says that NADAC tends to favor speed and J.C. is not very fast. He does tend to be more precise though. I still want to get his other 2 Rally titles too, so I already have enough things to worry about for now.
