Rally-O

Tomorrow I will going to my first rally trial(first ANY trial). J.C. knows all the stations but I think I will have trouble keeping his attention. Any last minute advice/tips?

I hope you have a GREAT time!!! My only recommendation would be to make it as fun as you possibly can so that dog knows that RALLY equates to having a good time.

Good luck, and have a blast with your dog, no matter how well (or badly) it does! Let us know next week how it went....

Good Luck!

Good luck and have a great time! Let us know how you do. R.J. and I are in our 3rd week of training for level 1 Rally-O, and it's a blast. I can't wait to try some trials. I think you'll do great.

Got a leg!

woooooooooohooooooooo! It was a long day, but worth it! We got there around 7 a.m. because the people we rode with had to show in Novice A obedience which started at 8 a.m. Novice A Rally didn't start untill around 3 p.m. Well, we went in and scored an 89 for our first leg! I uploaded a picture to my gallery. The people we rode with got a 190 on the first itme out and got 2nd place! (They have a boxer too, and we train together).

That's awesome, i'm so happy for you. Jakin and I have our first trial in about 3 weeks. I'm nervous, but i know Jakin can do it, he knows all the signs required for his RA. I know once i start though i wont be able to stop my self (going to and competiting in dog show).

Good luck on your first trial! We will be going for our 2nd RN leg in about three weeks.
