Oh, I just looked at the AAC rules and regs and it looks just like USDAA.

So Owen's jumping 26" and going over a 6'3" A-frame, right? What are the heights for CKC?

I'm staring Foster at NADAC events so we can jump 22" and go over a 5'6" A-frame But we'll eventually be doing USDAA events too. Foster can't do AKC because his mixed *sniff*

Yep that's right. He is full height on everything!!

For CKC he will be jumping the heighest which is 24" and the a-frame is only 5'6", so we should be even faster! We have not competed in CKC yet, but I have heard from others that it's easier than AAC. Our first CKC competition is in May so I will know then!

I might even try AKC at some point - if there are any close USA trials...

Well, I am off to our trial (it starts in 2hrs!!!). I have HUGE betterflies in my tummy. I get myself so nervous before these things.

Oh yeah, NADAC is 24" too ( not 22"). But dogs over 20" have the option of jumping 20" OR 24".

I know I said it before but... GOOOOOOD LUCK!!!

Hey there Kysha, I know you have butterflys so let me just say

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO KYSHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are awesome, I know you'll do great!!

Question: What kinds of dogs are you competing against with everything at full height? I guess this means that Owen is considered a big dog instead of a medium sized dog? Inquiring minds want to know!

Owen performed with great enthusiasm this weekend, but we did not get any Q's. I didn't think that we would because we really aren't ready for the advanced level, I thought I would try and see where we were. We have some definiate teeter issues - again Back to square one with him.

In the 26" division Owen competes against Germans Shepards, Malenois, Treveurns, some Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, ... Owen plays with the BIG dogs!!
