I can't believe it! Mali passed the Canine Good Citizen test. The club where we train put on a test, and I voluteered to help. I did not pre-register Mali to take the test, but I planned to have her take the test if there was time after all the pre-registered teams were done. I did not expeect she would pass all the tests, but I wanted to give her the chance to show me all the tests she could pass.

She walked at heel nicely when we approached another dog and handler and sat politely while I shook hands with the dog's handler. All that 'look at me' training paid off. She was also surprised at the distraction test when the tester dropped a bar from a jump on the floor, but she didn't panic. That was very good for her because she can be fearful of loud noises. The other tests were pretty straightforward for her because we have done a lot of obedience work lately. Good girl, Mali, CGC!
