Looking To adopt a puppy asap

Just joined the site after seeing the great work you all do to get boxers in good homes. My family is ready to adopt a boxer puppy. We live in South New Jersey and would love to give a boxer pup a great home for life. Please contact us either here or via email as we are looking actively for a new family member. Thanks

Hi Justin - There are several rescues that cover the Jersey area. Just do an internet search for boxer rescue nj pa de ny, and you will find them. Once you do, filling out an application is the first step. That will be followed by reference checks and a home visit. Once approved, you will be able to start meeting the dogs. Rescues sometimes have puppies, but most of the dogs will be between 1 and 8 years of age. Since you do have a toddler, you might be better off getting an adult dog who has already spent time around young children.

I am so happy to hear that you are interested in adopting a boxer. There are so many that need good homes. One of the rescues that I know of in NJ is NJ Boxer Rescue. They have several boxers available for adoption. You will have to submit an application and have a home visit before you are approved for adoption. I believe it is the same with most rescue organizations. Best of luck to you!!
