Cool Empty space, longing hearts in BC

As some of you know, we lost our Jazzy due to acute hepatic failure as a rare side effect of Metacam use for her sore bones.
Since Jazzy passed away, our home is so empty - there is no kidney beaning and licks when we come home, no dog to take for rides/walks thru the country - How can one survive without a Boxer? Our hearts are heavy, but full of love for our next new boy or girl - whenever he or she may come along.

We were Jazzy's 4 th home, and although she was never abused in her previous homes, she settled in here nicely at age 4 months and for over 8 years she lit up our world and shared our lives.

We are empty nesters and as professional shift workers mostly working opposite, we spend plenty of time at home on our rural half acre here on Vancouver Island.

If a young boxer comes up for adoption, please remember/consider us. We'd be very grateful to rescue/adopt a new Boxer and give it our love, protection and affection. We know it will all be reciprocated many times over.

Many thanks

Re: Empty space, longing hearts in BC

I feel so bad for you. I read your other post on the difficulties adopting out of state, and I know the feeling. Just keep trying, don't give up, bug the heck out of who ever you can!! I believe in fate, and I know that someone special will come into your life soon enough. Keep an eye out, and I will too!!
