When ever we wanted Chloe to go in her crate (over the past 3-4 weeks), we pick her up and place her in from of the crate and say "kennel" and then when she goes it we give her a treat.

However - now when we tell her "kennel" she just looks at us - unless we pick her up and put her in front of the crate. It's like she is thinking ".....come over here and pick me up" - or she will run under a table or run away from us.
