I went fishing today at a lake in the mountains and took Brandi with me.
The good:
She had an absolute blast! My uncle took her for a walk and sat down near a shore within distance where we could see them. I see this little animal jumping up and down making these HUGE splashes, then running onto land, circling around my uncle and practically DIVING back into the lake. It was awesome to watch

and my uncle said she had a really good time.
The bad:
She was uncontrollable walking to the fishing site. She was going nuts pulling on the leash. There is a small trail that goes around the lake, and there was one section that's really narrow & rocky, at the foot of a mountain. Well she almost made us fall into the lake which would have been pretty ugly. If she would have fell only, she would have been hanging by hear leash till I could pull her up. Luckily I was semi expecting it & caught my footing just in time. Also, while we were fishing, a cpl walked by with their pup. Brandi pulled so hard the leash slipped out of my hand. I tried to grab her and she kept running from me. I had to follow her all over the campsite and the ONLY reason I got her was because my bro in law was walking back towards us and she ran to him. It was so embarrasing! I have never, EVER hit her or made her not want to come to me. I know she is still a pup and exploring, but for both our safety, I definitely need to teach her some leash & recall manners!

What can anyone recommend? Also, she drank a little bit from the lake, is that ok? I'm assuming it is, since animals in the wild do the same.
