Absolutely. Take a look at the breed standards from around the world

language tends to make a bit of a difference in how people imagine the dog should look. It shouldn't though - so it's worth being familiar with all the standards, IMO the FCI in particular (it's the one in widest use around the world, and it's also written by the German Boxer Klub (and the boxer is a German dog)).
