I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a good book for dealing with behavioral problems or one that deals with discriminating behavior in dogs. I am currently trying to learn as much as i can about training and behavior in order to assist the rescue i am working with and to keep from having the trouble i had with my last foster (jack, see Jack's story in rainbow bridge)
I have talked with several trainers in my area and they have recommended several training type books, i have read or am reading those books now, but i am looking for something more behavior oriented. to help with "temperment testing" so to speak. Here are the books that i have read/are reading

The Dog Whisperer, Jan Fennel
Culture Clash, Jean Donaldson
Bones would rain from the sky, Suzanne Clothier
Dont Shoot the Dog, Karen Prior
The other end of the leash, Patricia McConnell

Also i have a couple of basic training manuals, not really different from each other.
