Hmmm, been having a problem logging on or would have responded sooner.
Also, Julie M's response (which I recieved via email notification) with the links to the full results isn't showing up here??? Odd!!

Anyway, I DO have a bit of a brag.
Not exactly the brag I wanted to post, but still very pleased with Ca$h.

I showed Ca$h (owner handled as usual) Fri to warm him up and get him into show mode and he won his class

Saturday, I was having a few issues getting it into his head that it was "show time" and he needed to be focused. We are chasing major wins at this point and I NEED him to behave!
Well, he certainly poured it on come ring time and charmed the judge.
After winning his class, the judge made us "free bait" the dogs in the Winners round. This IS something that Ca$h does very well and I honestly think that's how we got the "Winners Dog" win. I was soooo excited and started jumping up and down in the ring like an idiot.
I had a puppy bitch I was supposed to handle immediatly and thankfully the owner understood my excitement and offered to take her in herself while I calmed down.
Unfortunately, the Major broke in dogs and we needed to go "Best of Winners" for the points we needed.
Although I know better than to push him, I asked too much and he went into shut down mode. Instead of just playing with him and keeping him upbeat, I handstacked him too much and he lost intrest. We didn't get the big win we needed.
Disapointed we didn't get the Major, I'm still VERY proud of him.
This was our first attempt at a major win and as a novice, owner handling against the Pros, we did pretty darn good.
