Thanks for the recommendation for the vet at Dix Hills. I actually met with a new vet last week. There is a new office that opened up on Larkfield Rd. in E. Northport – not too far from the Dix Hills hospital. I really liked the vet there. I got a really good feeling with her – she moved from Smithtown and went highly recommended from a friend’s cousin who has been seeing her for years. I too have been changing too much so I’m going to stick with her for a while. She also seems knowledgeable in nutrition, she knows very well of Strombeck’s diets (she uses his recipes for clients that have to be fed special diets) – I told her about it since half of Owen’s diet is homecooked using his recipes. And she was happy to hear the kibble I feed is a premium one (Solid Gold). But I will keep your vet in mind b.c you never know…
