What a beautiful story of Dakota's life...it sounds like she was the most wonderful girl for your family. How very brave she was... I am deeply sorry for your loss!! I lost my golden retriever that I loved dearly 5 years ago and went through much of the same thing as you have and I feel your pain. I waited five year to get another dog and I am so in love with Roxi and thank god every day for bringing her into my life but I still fear "that day"!! It is just not fair that they cannot live with us for a lifetime!!
My thoughts and prayer's go out to you and yours at this time. Megan (the GR) is waiting for Dakota at the Rainbow Bridge!! You will see her again... she will be waiting for you pain free and illness free!!
