I am so glad this was addressed-Today I also spent at least 20 minutes trying to get SugarRay in so I could go to the doctors. He would get within inches of me and then run. It took me forever to get him in and that was only because I had to make some toast and he smelled it through the screen door and sat on the deck bellowing to come in for toast. As soon as I got back I called and enrolled him in an obedience class starting August 4th. He has had a trainer coming to the house one day a week and with her he is just a perfect angel but as soon as she leaves he turns into the tazmanian devil. Although I love having someone come to the house he is not getting the social interaction with other dogs and I know he needs that. Hopefully this will teach him that although he is our baby-to the rest of the world he is a dog and has to get along with other dogs so we can leave the confines of the prison we call home. Do you think this is a good idea-should I continue with the one on one? Thanks for any help.
