Do more research. For instance AKC.org publishes information on who to call on a particular breed, for the best breeders and advice. Other resources out there who can help you.
The first step in minimizing bad litters and sick dogs will be for the boxer lovers to use the tools to help them.
Remember boxers breeders are trying to breed for whats best for the breed and not whats best for their pocket.
This woman you speak of is a backyard breeder.
