Sorry so long in replying..My nets been down and I only just got back online a few days ago.
Well, I was going to come on and tell you one thing but things all changed this morning.
Because Dexter was acting normally (he was sick on and off for a few days but vet kept saying to wait and see if glove passed). I was getting very worried/frustrated etc (and not too happy about the whole thing to be honest ). However, Dexter suddenly seemed to be his old self, stopped being sick and the vet said to leave things as they were and it looked like it might pass. After weeks of checking his faeces we found what we thought might be a bit of white leather, so we started to think it was in fact breaking down inside him.....
Well, nearly 5 weeks after Dexter swallowed the glove, what did he go and do this morning???.......he threw up the glove!
THE WHOLE GLOVE!!! It must have been sitting in his stomach all this time, moving about and letting some food pass through and some not. I am so glad he has brought it up. We phoned the vets to let them know. We had to leave a message with the receptionist but she knew us and was shocked that he had only just brought it up.
I just hope its not done any long term damage while its been there but he must have not been very comfortable all this time (although he acted fine). Must make him feel a lot better.
