Yes Chewy is familiar with the soft bite concept, and hasn't bit us any harder than that since he was a young pup. But this concept went out the window when he was around that little boy.

So, how did you teach Rowdy to play gently with your boys? Did he have any trouble remembering that he's on the bottom of the totem pole, so to speak? Did Rowdy ever jump up on your kids? If so, how did you curb this behavior? Thanks for the input.

And Vasha, is it that Kaiser doesn't like children, or does he just try to be dominant over them and put them in their place? This is more the problem with Chewy. He definitely *likes* kids - no question about it. He'd rather play with kids than play with us, it's just that he plays inappropriately, and now tries to be dominant with them.
