I had my husband call him and tell him if he wants the dog he has to pay $435.00 (the cost of food, boarding, toys, treats, etc..)and the Tonka has to be gone tomorrow or we keep the dog. He told my husband that he has spoken to the attorney general and the breeder contract is no good and he will have someone at my house in 24 hours to get the dog. I also have a scanned paper emailed saying he has given me Turk (aka Tonka) as 9/16/00. He also said he wasn't paying that wasn't part of the deal, my husband said it is part of the deal taking care of a dog, we are not going to pay for his dog. I also have an email saying he will pay me for the crate. What a nightmare. I know that if Marc and I were in a room Tonka would be by my side and want to leave with me.
Cindy, the breeder said she would send me a paper stating excatly what you suggested. The breeder said if Marc would have been honest and told her that he was not able to bring the dog back ( which he told her the dog was with him, when the dog was here)she would have paid for Tonka to get home. She is very mad at him, he has called and talked to her husband threating them.
