Well when we brought out GSD into our home GDOGS was not quite sure what to think or do with this new house guest as our GSD was very small and she was 3 months old,but I think GDOGS knew that she (Delmi) was sick so he didn't bother her at all matter of fact GDOGS would just watch over her,Then as she finally started to get bigger he would play with her a little bit at a time until she got a whole lot bigger/better and now that Delmi is all well they both romp through the house and outside until one or the other tires out which to my amazement is mostly Delmi and not GDOGS and there is almost 6 years of age difference between the two.That's our story and I have always thought that dogs are like people as the personalities can be similar or can be totally different from each other.I hope this helps you in some small way.
