Thanks for all the vibes! Thor is doing better today! He doesn't seem to have the need to go as urgently or as often, so the antibiotics (ciproflaxin-sp?) seem to be working well. He is sleeping a bit more, but that is to be expected while fighting an infection. The vet did a complete bood and chem panel and sent me the results. After spending about a hour on the internet looking everything up, it appears everything that is high or low can be attributed to the infection. His BUN is just over normal but all other liver functions are normal.

Good luck! Hope it is nothing serious and happy to hear the tumor has not grown.

Karlyn, I am so glad you weighed in! I was hoping you would as I knew you took Darwin to K-State. Mailing it back seems like a good option. I think I will contact them and see about getting both Arabella and Thor done. Arabella is 5 now I think it might be wise just to get a baseline at this point. I hope you are doing alright, as I know losing Darwin was such a blow. Thanks for your input!
