Look into harnesses that they use for sledding or skijoring. Do an internet search for "X-back Harness" if you want a harness that lets your dog pull without chaffing or riding over the shoulder joints. Search for "Urban Trail Harness" if you want a really nice padded traditional style harness that is good for pulling and can double as an everyday harness.
In general, you want to avoid harnesses with straps that ride over the shoulder joint. They interfere with the natural movement of the joint, altering the dog's extention and stride, over time contributing to joint issues and potentially causing injury.
