I personally don't follow any chart. I put about 2 cups in a bowl and my 12 year old and 3 month old share it. When it's empty I fill it back up. I've never had a dog eat the entire bowl in one sitting. My dogs eat when they are hungry and stop when they are full. I just had my 12 year old Boxer at the Vet for her yearly checkup and they were astonished of how good of shape she is in. They also get treats everytime they use the bathroom outside.
