[Cami]

Cami was brilliant and we swore she pretty much knew everything we were saying. She only responded when it pertained to her of course!
Like so many people we would have to start spelling words. Walk became "w-a-l-k" and when she learned to spell we would just shorten it to "W".
Once she caught on to that trick we changed the words like "walk" to "stroll". She figured that out too. We started using hand signals.
Of course she picked those up as well.
Raine at 14 months isn't brilliant YET but she is farther along in her learning about certain things than Cami's pace was. I think our training style comes into play since we now know what these smart Boxers are capable of!
Raine knows a ton of words and phrases but best responds when we are quiet and use body language, eye contact and hand signals.
It is hard being smarter than a Boxer!
