I think it sounds as though you have plenty of calcium in the diet, so I wouldn't be worried about adding more. As far as the "correct" amount goes, it is worth bearing in mind that this is a range , not an absolute ratio. That is, anything from about 1-2.5:1 is quite acceptable for an adult dog - and that's actually a pretty big range within which the diet is quite acceptable.
