Tripe is a wonder-food One of the best things you can possibly give to the dog. BUT it does need to be what is called "green" tripe - NOT the bleached/scalded to death white stuff that is sold for human consumption. As for heart, I used to feed that quite often to both cats and dogs. It's debatable whether it's offal or if it's muscle meat (both really, but most often 'classified' as muscle meat). In any case, it's good lean meat and can be reasonably fed as frequently as it suits you.
