I personally would NOT give any more. But that is just me. I would be at the vets office when they open tomorrow demanding a different drug. I would also print out any number of articles about its use in Boxers and hand it over to the vet. It would also be included in my dogs file.

The problem lies with the lack of contradictions on the use label of the drug. THERE ARE NONE pertaining to Boxers. Hopefully someday that will change. For now all we can hope is that we have a vet who honors our wishes and does not use it when we request that it not be used. We can also hope that more and more vets become educated about its potential problems used with Boxers.
I was looking thru old vet paperwork for my cat and saw that the vet had given us some Ace for when we moved (she hates the car). The warnings actually included something along the lines of not being safe for use in giant breed dogs and boxers. I was impressed, had never seen that before.

Valium is a good alternative to Ace, thats what our vet used for Johann when he was neutered. I hope you can get a safe med to give her.
