Does she have a stainless steel bowl? Johann was scared of his reflection as a tiny puppy and wouldn't eat out of his dish. He got over it eventually, mostly after he figured out how to tip the dish over and make a giant mess. Then it was a fun game.
Buster cubes are a great feed toy that will make them take a long time to eat. Very noisy though.
