Wellness is a good company and a quality food. With that said, there's no "one size fits all" when it comes to food. So there may be some trial and error. On the plus side, there are TONS of premium foods out there so if the Wellness doesn't work out you can try something else. Also as a side note, I am not one to promote the high protein foods, however there is a happy medium between the high protein foods and Nutro. I would highly NOT recommend Nutro for a variety of reasons, one being it's poor quality ingredients. You can have high quality ingredients without a high protein, fat, etc content that doesn't bother their tummy but is healthier.

Do you have a recommendation? We have been feeding Wellness and switched from puppy to adult when Millie was diagnosed with JRD so that she would have a little less protein. I was just wondering if maybe you could suggest a quality food that has less protein than Wellness since her kidneys already aren't functioning properly and that might be better for her.
