NAME: Daisy Duke - but mom calls me Daisy Mae or Maizy Dee
AGE: 2 years
WEIGHT: 65 lbs
BODY TYPE: Slender girlish figure
COLOR: Flashy fawn
Favorite Toy: Tennis Ball - I push it under the bed and stand there and bark until someone (usually poor mom) comes and gets it out for me. Then I do it again.
ANNOYING HABIT: I tend to bark at ANYTHING that is outside and I won't stop until mom comes out and drags me into the house.
IN SAME ROOM WITH A CAT: I chase and chase - never letting up. As a matter of fact one time I was standing in the dining room looking at the kitten that had just jumped up on the table. My mom saw me jump straight up onto the table. Yep - there I was standing on the dining room table. Mom freaked.
You know - expensive wood and all.
COUCH POATATO OR ATHLETE: Athlete for sure. Although since I have a heart condition I can only run a little while and then I have to sit and rest. But I play alot - I don't sleep nearly as much as my boxer brother, Gunner.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WATER: Mom expects Gunner and me to walk around outside on the yucky wet grass. I can't stand it. In the morning when it's time to do business, I just stand there on three legs - one of the back ones raised so Iwon't get all four feet wet!
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: In my big crate in the extra bathroom next to mom and dad's bedroom. That's at night - but in the day I sleep on the bed or sofa when I'm not playing.
YOUR HUMANS: Tim (Dad), Sharon (Mom), Nanny, Megan, Carmen, Shannon, and Josh
LIKE SNOW: Never saw snow before - I'm a FLorida girl
PEOPLE OR DOGS: People for sure - I kidney bean with the best of them when I see new people
HOW DO YOU SHOW HUMANS YOU LIKE THEM: Kidney Beaning (I love that phrase) And jumping up to be closer to their face and then I sit halfway in their laps and give little tiny kisses. I also love to place my face against their face like I'm smelling them but I just hold it there and snuzzle.
LEASHED OR FENCED: I don't like to head home on the leash - I'm fine when mom takes me and Gunner for a walk. But as soon as we turn around to head home I go nuts and start jumping and grabbing my leash and then Gunner and I start play fighting. Mom gets embarrassed because she thinks the neighbors hear us and wonder what she is doing with two "snarling mean fighting" dogs. (They don't know that's how we play).
FAVORITE PERSON: Megan (my sister) took care of me for the first year of my life. She lived here at home then. She moved a few months ago to North Carolina and I miss her.
DRY OR CANNED: Both together - I really don't care about eating that much.
DO YOU DROOL: Oh yes - especially when I am waiting for a snack. A dripping faucet is more like it.
FAVORITE HUMAN FOOD: Probably steak
BARKING: Every morning I bark at the lawn sprinklers. And every night I bark at any headlights I see coming down the street. But I don't bark when I want something. Mom is glad of that. Gunner does it for me.
